In January-February, 2018, representatives of the National Paradelphic Committee of Russia (NPCR) Lidiya Abramova, Natalya Krel, Tatiyana Kasikova visited Izhevsk, the capital of the Republic of Udmurtia.
The NPCR President Lidiya Abramova and the NPCR Executive Director Natalya Krel have conducted the primary expertise of cultural institutions of the Republic of Udmurtia verifying its accessibility for the disabled. During the two days, more than ten cultural institutions including the Republican Russian Drama Theatre of Udmurtia, the Republican National Theatre of the Republic of Udmurtia, Tchaikovsky National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the Republican House of Folk Art, Udmurt Republican Philharmonic Concert Hall, the House of Peoples’ Friendship and other social facilities.
It stands to mention that almost all main republican institutions of Udmurtia are well equipped and ensure accession to cultural facilities for the disabled. The NPCR experts also gave recommendations to correct inessential details.
We are sure that in November, 2018 Udmurtia will be ready to welcome future participants of the Second International Paradelphic Games.
